Plausible justification disinfo
A propaganda technique to offer an excuse that 'sounds good' yet facts disprove. Yet a popular extension to this the lie by [omission and half truth]. Just look at what Colin Powell said on Meet the Press 10-19-08, if Iraq did not have WMD then there would be no war. Yet, even if they did (like the WMD's given to Sadaam in the 80's to fight against Iran) what threats were being made to the US? What link was there between Iraq and Al-Qaeda? Of course, none. Tell that to the soldiers and their families who died there. To all those who pushed for the shoot first, ask questions later, might over diplomacy policies, the murder of their lives is on your souls, their blood on your hands. Justify the choice a soldier makes to enlist all you want. When a military is used a first option instead of one of a last resort, that is not a choice that was disclosed at the signing of the [8 year obligation] plus with stop loss.
